OAK AND GLASS STAIRS
LOCATION: Farnham
PROJECT TYPE: Treads & Balustrade
STYLE: Castle
MATERIALS: Oak, Glass
CLIENT: With a metal structure in place and a vision for the stairs in mind, the client approached Multi-Turn to work with them to finish their self-build project to a high standard.
PROJECT BRIEF
The client wanted a staircase that would complement the unique and contemporary interior of their home.
Starting with the metal structure that had already been installed by the steel fabricators, we were tasked with producing the statement treads and balustrade.
OUR SOLUTION
We visited site to template for the oak treads and glass that would add the finishing touches to this staircase.

In the workshop, our team produced the sets of oak treads in a wide and bulky design that would suit the 'floating' style the client had envisioned. 17.5mm laminated glass was selected for the balustrade to allow it to support the treads - it was 3.2m long and weighed a huge 300kg!

Pairing the natural magnificence of oak with the glass created a sleek and seamless look for this bright stairway. It accentuates the chic styling of the rest of the home and the client was delighted with the finished result.
